1. What are the priorities of the Community Support and Response Program Grant?

• To support groups completing projects that address a COVID-19 pandemic-related issue, which will have demonstrated benefits for Coquitlam.
• To support Coquitlam-based registered not-for-profit organizations whose expected revenue has be reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. How long will it take before I know if my application has been approved?

• The grant review committee meets every two weeks to review applications that are fully complete by the Monday of the meeting week.
• The grant administrator will contact applicants within one week of the committee meeting at which their application is reviewed.

3. Am I guaranteed grant funding if I submit an application?

• No, applying for a CSRP grant does not guarantee that you will receive funding. The granting process is competitive and applicants should submit the best application possible.
• Organizations must be in good financial standing with the City, including having completed any requirements for previously received City funding, in order to receive a CSRP grant. If you are unsure of your organization’s standing with the City of Coquitlam, please contact the grant administrator at 604-927-3547 or communitygrant@coquitlam.ca.

4. The project has changed since I applied, what should I do?

• If your application has not yet been reviewed by the committee, please submit changes to communitygrant@coquitlam.ca
• If your request for funding was approved, contact the grant administrator at 604-927-3547 or communitygrant@coquitlam.ca.
• Any changes to approved expenses or timelines must be authorized by the City before proceeding. Unauthorized changes may result in the City of Coquitlam requiring you to return CSRP funding.
• If your request for funding was declined, please submit a new application to communitygrant@coquitlam.ca.
