Coquitlam is building a new Place Maillardville Community Centre.
Place Maillardville Community Centre is a City-owned 11,000 square foot recreation facility serving approximately 8,000 – 10,000 people. The facility has been operated by the Société Place Maillardville Society since 2001.
Place Maillardville has been a cornerstone of the Maillardville neighbourhood for 40 years, and this aging facility can no longer effectively sustain the needs of the community. A new facility will provide an enhanced space to continue to serve the growing and changing needs of the neighbourhood.
The future Place Maillardville Community Centre, scheduled to open in fall 2022, will be approximately 2,000 square metres (22,000 square feet) in size, which will enhance the amenities and services offered within a scale, budget and size appropriate for the neighbourhood.
Proposed Program Spaces & Amenities

Child minding space
