Salmon Day
Saturday, October 4, 2025
Join Watershed Watch, Kwikwetlem First Nation, Resilient Waters, and UBC’s Pacific Salmon Ecology and Conservation Laboratory for a free, fun, family-friendly Salmon Day at ƛ̓éxətəm (tla-hut-um) Regional Park.

Salmon Day is an educational event that will feature:
- Interactive displays by community partners
- A fish ID session
- A make-your-own-salmon detector station
- An opportunity to adopt your own PIT-tagged salmon so you can get updates about their journey.
Activities will run from 11 AM - 3 PM.
At 12 PM, community leaders will present on the awesome work being done to take care of salmon.
