COQUITLAM, B.C., April 9, 2024 – Join us in celebrating National Volunteer Week from April 14 – 20 as the City extends its gratitude to all volunteers. Their dedication and generosity enhance the fabric of our community, making a profound impact on the lives of residents.

Each year, volunteers contribute countless hours to support various programs, events, and services. Last year these totaled up to 50,409 hours across all initiatives. Volunteers help keep Coquitlam safe and clean, protect our environment, and support seniors and others in need.

Connect with Community at Outreach Events

This year, the City has put together many fun and free outreach activities and events to bring our community together in celebration of National Volunteer Week. Find more information about these activities at coquitlam.ca/volunteer.

Why Volunteer with the City of Coquitlam

Volunteering is a rewarding way to:

  1. Share your expertise: Help your community by sharing your talent and skills.
  2. Gain experience: Choose a role that will help you gain experience you can use in other areas of your life.
  3. Connect with others: Volunteering connects you with new people with similar interests and helps strengthen bonds in our community.

Sign up today for a number of opportunities. Help to maintain Coquitlam’s outdoor spaces, share a positive message with a local senior, guide local sports groups and much more at coquitlam.ca/volunteer.
