Today we illuminate in pink for World Sepsis Day. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by the body’s extreme response to infection. In Canada, it affects thousands yearly and is a leading cause of preventable death. Awareness leads to faster diagnosis, treatment, and saves lives.
