The Coquitlam Crunch Trail is a popular outdoor recreational destination in Coquitlam. A long-time destination for fitness enthusiasts, the Crunch trail sees about 50,000 users each month during peak summer season. Coquitlam is planning to extend the popular to the south, eventually connecting to Mundy Park.

Cottonwood Park is undergoing a major multi-year expansion that started in 2018.
The artificial turf field has reached the end of its useful life and is being replaced in order to continue to meet the needs of our community.
The field will be closed for 6-8 weeks starting July 2026, and will re-open in time for the fall season.
Mechanical improvements and tank repairs were recently completed at Eagle Ridge Outdoor Pool. The facility is now ready for the 2026 swim season.
More maintenance work is scheduled for the coming fall, after the 2026 swim season. The work is part of necessary upkeep to help extend the life of the pool and keep it in good condition for years to come.
The City, in collaboration with Beedie Fraser Mills Limited Partnership (Beedie Living), is moving forward with the planning and development of public amenities in the future Fraser Mills neighbourhood. This includes parks, a community centre (with a pool) and public art.

The first phase of improvements for Glen Park are moving forward, with upgrades to the dog off-leash area, initial trail updates and adding a forest-inspired nature play area shared with School District 43 planned for summer 2026.

The City is upgrading the north ball diamond at Mackin Park with new backstops and dugouts, improved drainage and irrigation, and enhanced landscaping around the field.
Construction will begin in May 2026, with an estimated reopening in winter 2027. The remainder of the park will remain open during construction.

As part of the Cemetery Services Plan, phased upgrades are planned for Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery. Phase 1 was completed in 2021, Phase 2 began 2025 and Phase 3 will begin in 2030.
Town Centre Park is undergoing upgrades guided by the Town Centre Park Master Plan.
