Plumbing Permits

Residential

• Apply for a Plumbing Permit
  • Owners intending to do the work themselves must submit: 
    • Plumbing Permit Application (PDF)
    • Home Owner Declaration Form (PDF) and
    • owner prepared plumbing drawing
  • Registered Contractors must submit:
    • Plumbing Permit Application (PDF)
• Pay the permit fee either 
  • Online through our ePayments page using this Electronic Payment Guide (PDF) for step by step instructions or,
  • In person at City Hall during regular business hours
• Book inspections through the online Inspection Booking System.

Commercial/Institutional/Industrial/Multi-Family

• Apply for the Plumbing / Sprinkler Permit:
  • Registered Contractors / Registered Professional of Record must submit:
    • Plumbing Permit Application (PDF) and/ or Sprinkler Permit Application (PDF)
    • Three sets of plumbing /sprinkler drawings of the proposed work including all relevant documentation identified in the Plumbing Application Checklist (PDF)
• Pay the permit fee either 
  • Online through our ePayments page using this Electronic Payment Guide (PDF) for step by step instructions or,
  • In person at City Hall during regular business hours
• City approved design drawings must be on site for all inspections.
• Book inspections through the online Inspection Booking System.
